WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR// A leading sports organisation based in London are looking for a Digital Journalist who is fluent in Spanish to play a key role in producing content alongside their clients - some of the world’s biggest football clubs. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING// You'll play an important role in the creative team, working within the production and curation of content for their website and social channels. You’ll have an excellent knowledge of football in Spanish speaking markets (mainland Spain and the LATAM region), knowing which players will appeal to the fans and creating your content strategy around that insight. You'll understand what looks good in football content and be up to date with the latest social trends, understanding how your content will be viewed and what sports fans really want to see. Using your bi-lingual skills you will translate content to English and Spanish and upload relevant content for each region to the organisations CMS. Day to day you'll be editing compelling and attention-grabbing content using Adobe Premiere Pro, making use of the organisation's extensive archive and become an expert on using this to create something new. At this company, you must stay ahead of the game, so timeliness is imperative. THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED// Must be completely fluent in Spanish and English. Experience in a journalism role Excellent writing skills and attention to detail Must have an in-depth knowledge of modern Spanish football and its content and culture. Moderate video editing skills Skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. Experience in the sport industry is desirable, but not essential Must have strong track record of producing and writing powerful content. Knowledge and experience of all digital media, including social media.
