SEO / SEM Manager Peterborough £35,000 - 45,000 depending on experience We are looking for an SEO / SEM guru to join the digital marketing and ecommerce operations of this very well established group of companies to play a central role in an exciting ongoing digital transformation programme that is driving all of their existing operations online. As SEO / SEM Manager you will: Provide leadership and expertise for all SEM activity cross the company including paid search, organic search, affiliates and display advertising. Own day to day operations of google (search & display) campaigns across multiple product lines and brands; placing ads, monitoring engagement, campaign tagging and bid adjusting. Present recommendations for SEO content to help achieve maximum SEM visibility for the brand. Manage website on page SEO including metadata, issue logs, header tags, keywords and URL structures. Recommend quarterly budgets, outline testing & measurement plans, set up campaigns and manage bid strategies. Maintain reporting dashboards and present SEM performance insights with recommendations for improvements and new reporting platforms. Test ad copy and targeting tactics, providing actionable insights to help future campaigns. Responsible for the monthly billing process for all SEM activities. Work closely with other marketing channels to develop campaign ideas, align messaging and optimise strategies. Monitor competitor activity ensuring we are actively competing on price and product offering, recommending updates where necessary. Develop a relevant affiliate marketing network. To succeed in this position you will be an SEO / SEM guru with: Previous experience of SEM marketing. Up to date industry knowledge of SEO best practise. Previous experience in using SEM tools such as Google Analytics. Proven success building and managing campaigns within Google Ads (Search & Display). Knowledge and understanding of brands and branding, brand strategy and consumer knowledge. Uses this understanding to inform daily work. Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of Amazon PPC beneficial Sounds interesting eh?
