IT Director - major Digital Transformation, Leisure Industry London Passionate about Digital Transformation and innovation? This is an opportunity to make a significant impact, with a well-known leisure organisation with 40 sites across the UK and ambitious international growth plans. This is a new appointment for the business, reporting directly to the CEO. You will play a leading role in a major digital transformation, with significant financial investment; mapping, creating and leading the IT strategy, facilitating delivery of a digital first business strategy. The business currently has a very lean IT team of four, for which you will take responsibility. The Digital Transformation, sponsored by the CEO and led by a major consultancy is comprised of four key workstreams; integration of new EPOS with web, new CMS, new CRM (Dynamics) and a new Booking Agent. All products (all SaaS) and vendors have been selected, along with a Systems Integrator to pull it all together. As IT Director you will; Lead, as the most senior subject matter expert providing advice on potential IT opportunities and issues Map, create and lead the implementation of an IT strategy, to facilitate a digital first business strategy. Ensure operational performance and resilience of IT systems, capabilities and services. Lead, coach and develop the IT team, ensuring the work of the team adds value, is relevant to the business strategy and meets the strategic goals. Ensure successful transition from legacy systems to new systems (you will have a dedicated PM for the initial major transformation) Ensure digital platforms operate effectively and that their potential and functionality are maximised. Ensure the management, availability and optimisation of data to support data-led decision making and marketing activities Manage relationships with key external partners, vendors and advisors Negotiate and manage contracts Manage and maintain all IT assets and infrastructure Ensuring that policies, procedures and metrics are in updated and upheld. Forecast and manage budgets (OPEX AND CAPEX) Identify and track business benefits Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor Regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve the IT service. This IT Director post holds full responsibility for all IT across the business; both the provision of IT services to the business (back-office business systems, infrastructure, EUC etc), along with all customer centric digital products. As such, we are looking for a well-rounded senior IT professional from comparable industry with a flair for digital. Required skills and experience; Previous experience in an IT Director or comparable senior IT post, within comparable industry with customer focus. Expertise in digital transformation and delivering complex IT programmes A strong background and understanding of IT Infrastructure. Experience of managing 3rd party vendors and service providers Experience and knowledge of compliance, regulation and Information security. Strong knowledge of CRM and digital products including API integrations. Experience of delivering in multi-site, geographically dispersed businesses would be preferential Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other businesses are employing them. Experience of managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets Experience with one or more project management methodologies (for example, PMI PMBOK, PRINCE2 and agile). Paying up to £110k salary up to 30% bonus Central London location with flexible working Fantastic company culture.
