Marcus Evans Linguarama is a global language solutions provider that specializes in tailoring and delivering one to one, small group, in-house and overseas business language courses to some of the biggest household names including Porsche, Ernst & Young, Ferrero and Pepsi. We form part of the Marcus Evans Group which is a global, multifaceted media, corporate marketing and information provider with over 3000 employees across 59 offices worldwide. Due to recent expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit a Marketing & Sales Executive to join our team responsible for planning, developing and deploying a series of B2B email marketing campaigns to promote a range of courses sitting within our product portfolio. Your marketing campaigns will be designed to generate inbound leads which you would then follow up with diectly through a variety of channels. The role requires an excitable, creative and innovative self starter, with a real passion for all things marketing and the desire to want to hit and exceed monthly targets. You would need to be somebody who is happy to pick up the phone (don’t worry it’s not an all day cold calling affair) in order to determine training needs and close a sale, as well as keeping in contact with clients to maximise future business opportunities. We want somebody willing to go the extra mile and take ownership of the job at hand. Responsibilities of a Junior Marketing & Sales Executive: B2B Email Marketing: strategically plan, construct and run email marketing campaigns to promote a range of courses to a specific target audience Lead Generation and Business Development: generate enquiries via email campaigns and manage inbound enquiries via email and telephone to deliver revenue growth KPIs: work in line with KPIs to reach and exceed revenue targets Content creation: create visual and engaging landing pages via a CMS to support the product portfolio, build brand awareness and generate enquiries Copywriting: write engaging and targeted copy that is relevant to your target audience Client retention: build and maintain relationships with clients by actively speaking with them via email and telephone to gain valuable insight into both the professional and language needs of their company Account development: actively liaise with as many clients training departments as possible to develop both new and existing accounts Data Analysis: continually monitor campaign data to drive improved returns from future marketing initiatives and improve ROI Key skills and experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (a foreign language would be advantageous but not essential) A degree in marketing or similar qualification Creative, motivated and ambitious self starter willing to learn Target oriented and sales driven looking to hit the ground running and achieve monthly targets Excellent time management skills with the ability to analyze data Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a vibrant team
