Overview

This is one of four roles within the internal communications team. The executive will be a valued contributor to the team, supporting the development and delivery of other internal communication activities and initiatives across the UK business Unit to increase understanding of the UK strategy, strengthen employee engagement and ensure coordinated and consistent messaging across the business. Key Accountabilities: Develop, implement and continually update the communications plans for the UK Business Unit internal transformation programme (Mercury) and the associated strategic projects Design and implement internal communications materials and creative communication campaigns to support the programme, such as business updates, email communications, and briefing packs Develop and manage internal communications tools for the programmme (including SharePoint sites, webcast platforms, Yammer, internal videos) Participate in a UK-wide Internal Communications Network and contribute to the internal comms calendar to ensure effective collaboration and consistency of message across divisions and functions Report on the effectiveness of internal communications activity Your Profile: In-depth knowledge of the key elements associated with effective internal communications Experience in an internal communications role, including experience within change communications Excellent interpersonal verbal and written skills and experience in explaining complex information quickly concisely Ability to work independently and within a team, and with a range of different stakeholders Creative skills with the ability to propose and implement initiatives, and logistical / planning skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required budget Location: London Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
