LOCATION: London JOB DESCRIPTION: The opportunity A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to shape and deliver successful eCommerce marketing strategies. The client is a rapidly growing start-up company (having tripled in size in six months) so it really couldn't be a more exciting time to join our team. The role You will work directly with the Head of Marketing to deliver highly focused and powerful marketing communications strategies to drive brand messaging and generate sales. The successful candidate will have significant experience running a range of 360 marketing campaigns within an eCommerce marketing role. Well-versed in the full marketing mix, you are target driven, analytical and good with numbers. Your goal will be to ensure the clients online marketing efforts deliver brand message and increase market share. Responsibilities Develop and create innovative 360 marketing communications strategies (B2C & B2B) Manage a team Lead on email and automation strategy with user journey in mind Develop and plan engaging content marketing strategies Act as brand guardian in terms of look and feel of comms as well as tone of voice Coordinate and brief PR agency and other third party agencies where required Oversee social media growth strategy implemented by your team Provide reports and reviews of campaign metrics to the Head of Marketing, using these statistics to influence and nurture future digital activity Strategic input to developing the clients ever-evolving platform Keep abreast of new web technologies and digital marketing trends; implementing these in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information Build relationships with relevant suppliers and work cross functionally with other teams Event planning for promotional events Requirements Minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree or similar Excellent understanding of the core marketing disciplines and what each can deliver Experience in a 360 marketing management role - preferably in a digital sector Marketing mix experience in an eCommerce environment is essential Sound working knowledge of the key channels and techniques of digital marketing Experience in email marketing and customer journey in an eCommerce environment Experience managing a team and working cross-functionally Strong copywriting skills Sound understanding of GDPR Good knowledge of Google Analytics and ESP systems CIM qualification an advantage but not essential Personal attributes Excellent analytical and reporting skills Data driven with a strong eye for detail Strategic thinker with a creative flair Self-motivated and determined with a strong sense of personal initiative Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Exhibit a tenacious 'can do' approach to work Commercially minded and motivated to succeed Highly organised, flexible and calm under pressure, ensuring deadlines are met Enthusiastic, assertive and confident Exhibit a proactive and willing mindset Visionary, opportunistic and entrepreneurial Highly adaptable and able to think outside the box (start up environment) Office Angels are an equal opportunities employer Office Angels are an Employment Business Thank you for your interest in this role.
