Overview

Role: Marketing Communications Manager Type: Permanent, Full time Salary: Competitive BPS are the recruitment partner for a global private equity firm who own and operate 70 independent and international schools around the world with 40 schools in the UK. We are currently seeking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic Marketeer in the capacity of Marketing Communications Manager for one of my client’s independent schools. Reporting directly into the Head of Marketing with a dotted line into the Headteacher, you will be fundamental in executing the Marketing plans throughout the school in order to drive new interest and enquiries within the school community. Key responsibilities of the Marketing Communications Manager: Creating and executing marketing campaigns through various channels to generate enquiries for the Admissions team Translating the strategic marketing plan into an annual communications plan, supporting the strategic objectives and goals Developing the best channel mix in order to deliver the communication objectives and monitor performance over time to ensure the best return on investment Provide analysis to the Headmaster for decision-making on the detail of communication to parents following VoP and future action Conduct competitor research to benchmark activities of the school against local competition Own the digital experience including management of the school website and related social media, promoting events and news, working closely with the central digital team Working closely with the Admissions Manager to recognise and be proactive in filling any potential gaps in enrolment by flexing the comms plan to reach out to target groups As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following: Degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience Experience across various Social Media platforms Excellent IT and database skills e.g Microsoft software Good analytical skills with a commercial mindset Ability to articulate with a wide variety of stakeholders, parents and pupils We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
