Overview
A truly exciting role within a fast-growing charity, WR Fundraising Recruitment are delighted to be working with a brilliant team dedicated to tackling the growing mental health crisis through research. This innovative and dynamic charity are looking for someone with real creative skills, leadership ability, and expertise in mass market fundraising to drive their public engagement strategy. You will have proven experience of growing voluntary income at a charity, and a strong background in developing and implementing strategic approaches to areas such as digital marketing, individual giving, community fundraising, fundraising planning, and supporter segmentation. This is a fantastic chance to really make a difference, innovate, and take a lead role in the organisation’s public engagement. Working closely with the senior management team, you will be overseeing the process from strategic development through to impact monitoring and engagement. Head of Engagement London Full-time, permanent Circa £45,000k p.a. Duties will include: Developing and implementing a digital and off-line supporter acquisition and engagement approach through campaigns and activities Building supporter journeys that will drive best practice in donor acquisition and retention and inform activity Act as a key lead on the wider fundraising approach across both engagement and philanthropic teams Carry out research and testing to identify potential fundraising opportunities and drive strategy Lead on the stewardship of supporters, working with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver an exceptional level of donor care Providing leadership and management support to team members and line reports, helping to develop and nurture the growth of others Working closely with the operations team to ensure best practice in the collection and processing of supporter data and donations Applicants will need: Proven track record growing voluntary income across a range of individual giving income streams A high level of strategic experience and operational insight in fundraising and digital marketing Demonstrable experience of delivering a segmented and targeted approach to supporter journeys A creative approach, able to deliver innovative strategies and programmes at the forefront of the industry Experience in leading change and growth across a fundraising and operational team A collaborative mindset, able to work across teams in a diverse organisation A passion for the charity’s work in mental health To apply or for further information, please email a copy of your up to date CV in the first instance.
