Overview

The over-all purpose of this diverse role is to act as an Account Manager to the Association This role will suit a person who is confident, willing to learn and has a positive "can do" attitude. The CEO is implementing a number of changes to its internal systems/processes meaning the role will evolve to be a much more member (client) focused role, with less administration. It's an excellent opportunity for someone to contribute to, and be involved in, an exciting time of change. Responsibilities Manage information process for the International Accounting Bulletin and other surveys Manage information process for professional review information Check member firms, Partners, Directors and other officers on Know Your Customer database Handle initial member enquiries Prepare paperwork for new members Assist existing members with administrative requests Assist in research projects Conferences/meetings, including (but not limited to) Assist and/or manage the organisation and planning of conferences and training events Prepare and monitor conference budgets Prepare the conference paperwork, liaise with venues, suppliers, speakers etc. Attend, if required, conferences/training events (majority held overseas) and oversee the smooth running of the event Prepare documents for board meetings Take minutes of board meetings Action and follow up on decisions made during board meetings where necessary Marketing, including (but not limited to) Assist and/or manage the production of marketing materials Draft press releases and various newsletters Liaise with external copywriter, designer and marketing/IT agency Send member and press release announcements Follow up with member firms to ensure all information held is up-to-date Office and administrative support, including (but not limited to) Answer phones; organise mail (including couriers); arrange meetings (including refreshments and lunches); liaise with office suppliers and office management company; organise travel arrangements; file all paperwork efficiently and effectively; maintain email and other contact lists Essential Excellent attention to detail - this role will suit a person who is naturally accurate, detailed, and thorough in their approach to work Highly organised and able to work on own initiative Experience of working in a small office environment Experience of working in an administrative/support role Excellent and confident telephone manner Must be numerate and literate with advanced multicultural and interpersonal skills, and able to communicate appropriately with different levels of seniority, including directors Able to multitask and juggle a variety of tasks at once Possess an easy-going, confident and friendly personality, with a sense of humour Finance, including (but not limited to) This role requires having a general understanding of finance processes Providing ad- hoc financial administration relating to specific region Liaising with bookkeeper for regional financial matters Prepare and monitor conference budgets Desirable (please note these are not essential to the role) Writing and proofreading experience CRM (Salesforce) experience Email campaigns/online newsletter (Mailchimp) experience Bookkeeping/accounts experience (Sage) Layout or design experience (InDesign) Conference and/or training organisation experience Social media experience Degree educated, with foreign languages (Mandarin, French etc) Office Angels are an equal opportunities employer Office Angels are an Employment Business Thank you for your interest in this role.
