Head of Marketing: Summary and Duties Oversees all marketing activities Manages the long term contract marketing strategy Ensures the marketing team effectively fulfils the organisations marketing strategy Ensures that the Depts feed into the Marketing Dept, and work in collaboration to ensure maximum return Plan SMART objectives, and follow through to implementation, action, timings and cost Carries out competitor analysis to ensure the company's marketing strategy is competing effectively. Reports on all marketing activities Oversees and ensures the quality of all the external marketing activity. Driving quality candidate acquisition Plan and implement monthly promotional campaigns to acquire candidates Manage and improve the lead generation campaign to drive candidate acquisition, measuring results / ROI Follow through the customer journey from start to end Plan and implement the candidate acquisition, in line with our long term drive strategy. Team management and partner communications Manage the marketing team Ensure timely delivery of the marketing plan Oversee the social media presence to improve social media reputation Track conversion rates, improvements to the website and develop and manage the digital marketing plans Oversee the team activity to manage online reputation, drive traffic to our website and build engagement online, content development etc Work closely with design agencies to ensure brand consistency Commercial Director & CEO to devise an effective marketing strategy Completing various marketing projects at the request of senior directors Work closely with the management and heads of depts, T&D, CRM, sales team and HR; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations Recruitment and selection of new members of the marketing team. Planning, implementing and measuring in line with company objectives Plan SMART objectives, and follow through to implementation, action, timings and cost Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organisation. Follow through communications and marketing during the customer CRM journey - from awareness, to application, registration, and retention Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities in particularly sales calendar and candidate acquisition strategies Complete various marketing projects at the request of senior directors, user insights and measures and improve future marketing and digital plans Measure results and ROI of marketing activity Oversee the company's marketing budget and ROI Plan and implementing promotional campaigns Requirements of the role Bachelor degree in Marketing. Qualified member of the CIM or equivalent. Ability to plan and report on SMART objectives Ability to devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website. Ability to track conversion rates and making improvements to the website. Ability to develop and manage digital marketing campaigns A good understanding of a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC Experience in overseeing social media campaigns Experience in managing online brands and product campaigns to raise brand awareness A 'can do attitude' Attention to detail A commercial attitude
