Overview
The Opportunity: The Resource Deployment Consultant is a key member of the People Advisory Services (PAS) Service Line Resource Deployment team and wider UK&I Resource Deployment network. Resourcing provides the firm with the right people, for the right jobs, at the right time, in the right places - using a commercial mindset to deliver quality solutions. PAS helps our clients harness their people agenda. We work globally and collaborate to address complex issues relating to organisation transformation; effective talent deployment, mobility and the changing role of HR. This key business partnering role encompasses the following: Ensure optimal PAS Mobility demand and supply management for resource deployment within the business area. You will be given the opportunity to develop within the team and build an expert understanding of your clients. Manage the bench/capacity and identify creative opportunities to optimise productivity and profitability for the PAS Service Line Act as the first point of contact for resourcing conflicts and issues, escalating to the Resource Deployment Manager as per protocols Your Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities Sharing performance and discuss trends, interventions and actions to improve results with your Resource Deployment Manager work on driving positive change. Managing your allocated Sub-Service Line (SSL) ensuring the optimal demand and supply management for resource deployment. Be commercially minded and use this knowledge to influence business outcomes Use technology and established tools effectively to support the decision-making process Challenge the commercial drivers of the resourcing decisions. Understanding client handler skills and experience management. Applying a D&I lens on all resourcing decisions Ability to think quickly, work under pressure to meet competing demands Skills and Attributes for Success: Experience in a resource management environment is desirable Strong stakeholder management skills Ability to work quickly under pressure towards set deadlines.
