Overview
Do you have a passion for delivering high quality nature focussed events to visitors? Are you a creative leader with excellent customer service skills? Visitor Experience Officer Salary: £22,987 per annum FTE (£13,792 actual) Contract: Permanent Hours: Average of 21 hours per week across the year (to be discussed with successful candidate). Hours will include weekend working. Based: The Nature Discovery Centre, Thatcham This is an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee the running of the visitor experience at our client's Nature Discovery Centre and to ensure an exceptional level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have energy and enthusiasm for creating innovative events that change with the seasons and drive a profitable visitor centre. You will ensure all communications with visitors are engaging and consistent. The post holder will work with the Nature Discovery Centre Manager to promote an enhanced customer experience resulting in increased income generation and profitability for the Centre. Experience of working in a busy customer focused environment, motivating and leading a team and delivery of marketing and promotions is essential. Our client is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
