Overview
Our client is looking for a Market Research Analyst on a 6-month contract. The role will be based at their head office in Milton Keynes and will sit within the marketing team. This will initially be a 6-month FTC, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The purpose of the role is to look at competitors and potential clients, their offering, number of employees and service offering and run the data through their tools to understand their potential new customer opportunities. Responsibilities: Collect data on clients, competitors and marketplace and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations. Understand business objectives and design surveys to discover customers preferences. Compile and analyze statistical data - using the internet i.e. GlassDoor to collect it. Perform valid and reliable competitor/ market research analysis. Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations. Use online market research and catalogue findings to the existing database. Provide competitor analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation. You will need strong Excel and previous use of Salesforce would be an advantage.
