Your new company An innovative National Health Charity based in Central London Your new role We are looking for a strong Social Media Manager for a Maternity cover for between six and eight months. The role is both business as usual and strategic. You will lead a team managing activity across our national social media channels and wider social media presence. The role will provide specialist expertise and leadership across all areas related to successful social media management at a large and complex organisation, including the development and implementation of social media strategy across all activity in line with wider organisational objectives and strategic direction for digital engagement. The role will work closely with key teams and individuals to create great social media content and campaign strategies, ensure robust moderation processes and community management, provide leadership and manage relationships with key external suppliers. What you'll need to succeed Strong social media experience, ideally within a large complex organisation Understanding of the third sector and ideally professional experience within the sector Good understanding of best practices and industry practices when it comes to social media Great experience with Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram Previous experience with social media scheduling platforms You must be able to manage a team - you will be line managing three Proven track record improving an organisations social media presence What you'll get in return A competitive salary and national coverage on various platforms.
