Overview
Would you like to join a dynamic and driven team to help deliver a programme of high-profile travel events? This travel media company is currently looking for an Event Coordinator Assistant to help deliver a series of travel showcases around the UK. As an Events Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the events team in organising and overseeing the company's programme of events from beginning through to delivery. The ideal candidate will be a graduate who has some experience in coordinating small to medium scale events; you will also have exceptional organisational skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to travel around the UK and work evenings, as is normal in the events industry. Requirements include: - A minimum of one year admin experience in a support role - Events experience is desirable but not essential - Experience of CRM system useful but not essential - A highly-organised individual who is able to think on their feet, good with people, adaptable and with a can-do attitude. - Excellent attention to detail - Excellent organisational skills - Ability to effectively manage own workload - Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Personable and confident, able to build relationships with partners/key stakeholders - Resilient and calm under pressure - Adaptable and flexible approach - Pro-active and takes initiative
