UX/UI Designer - NHS SBS Leeds Job Type - Permanent, Full Time Package - £37,000 3% flex fund, pension, life assurance, annual leave (25 days bank holidays) Working Hours - 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity for a forward thinking UX/UI Designer to join a growing team. We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the user centred design process. You’ll be working across multiple areas including digital innovation and mobile apps both internally and for our NHS clients. From discovery workshops and user research, to producing prototypes and running usability testing, you will be able to contribute to the whole product life-cycle. You’ll collaborate closely with a wide range of people on a daily basis including developers, business analysts, other designers and product owners. You’ll be a great communicator with strong interpersonal skills alongside the creative, technical and design know-how. Today we provide finance, procurement, IT and employment services to around 40% of the NHS. Over 140 healthcare providers and arm’s length bodies - and every single commissioning organisation in the country - trust us to manage at least one of their corporate functions. Essential Skills 2 years minimum experience as a User Experience Designer Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of using Axure and Balsamiq Understanding of online usability analysis tools Examples of data gathered from usability analysis tools and tests Existing portfolio of work Experience of working in agile projects Self-motivated and directed Strong understanding of user centred design methodology Desirable Skills Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, user research, human factors, HCI or related field The successful candidates must be willing to undergo clearance process Reasons why you should join us: We’re big, really big.
