Data Science Manager London £60,000 - £70,000 This is an exciting brand-new opportunity for a Data Scientist Manager to work for an end to end integrated Marketing agency. THE COMPANY This is an established business who have recently invested heavily in their Data Science and Analytics function allowing the Data Director to grow the Advanced Analytics team and bring on a Data Science Manager. You'll be mentoring two junior colleagues and guiding the team to work on more complex projects and generally improve the capability of the function, bringing in more Data Science focused work so if you have excellent statistical modelling experience and Data Science experience this is a great next step. If you're looking for a step up in your career or the chance to join a team as the most senior in your area of expertise and build out their capability - this is for you THE ROLE As a Data Science Manager for the business you will: Mentor the two junior members of the Advanced Analytics team; helping establish best practice for Data Science and helping train the team You will oversee the strategy for the team and lead all Data Science projects Analyse customer behaviour, customer acquisition and campaign performance You will use statistical modelling techniques and help imbed more Data Science practices such as Machine Learning and NLP SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong academic background in a relevant field Excellent statistical modelling background in a commercial environment An excellent understanding of and experience with statistical or machine learning techniques Customer-focused experience and experience working with marketing data Team management or mentoring experience Tech: Python, SQL SALARY AND BENEFITS Basic salary £60,000 - £70,000 Good benefits package HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O'Callaghan via the apply link on this page
