Overview
Stakeholders and External Communications Manager Salary: £42,000 per annum Location: Central London Contract: Permanent We have partnered with an award winning Energy Company to recruit for their Stakeholder and External Communications. Developing and executing the company's stakeholder engagement and external communications strategies. You will be responsible for a Communications Officer and Engagement Officer. Whilst ensuring the commissioning and management of external stakeholder research, events management, document design and branding. You will also deliver on all external communications and stakeholder engagement programme. Key responsibilities: Develop and own the consolidated plan for all stakeholder engagement and external comms activities across the organisation Demonstrate how plans deliver against strategy, including widening stakeholder base in line with business development Advance the organisations brands and manage marketing and brand campaigns to support the company's strategic aims Proactively identify new stakeholder engagement and external communications opportunities, working with other departments Manage all external comms channels, co-ordinating dissemination of information through industry networks, website, social media, bulletins and events Manage messaging, FAQs and key messages and overseeing development of all external content Manage media relations and develop working relationships with key public opinion formers Manage the ongoing development of the organisations website, working with our internal I.T. team and external website provider. Commission and manage the use of external providers for stakeholder research, document design, events management and branding / marketing as required. You: Experience of developing and delivering communications strategies and managing stakeholders in multi-institutional landscapes; Experience of managing communications professionals Experience of commissioning and managing work by external/outsourced providers Extensive experience of Microsoft Office Experience of using of digital and social media tools to positively influence engagement; Able to tailor complex information into clear engaging content for different audiences; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally; Exceptional attention to detail.
