Overview

This role is area based (SE England) and the post holder will be responsible for the recruitment of graduates (from Universities, or those who are unemployed / under-employed within the LEP area) against specific work plans developed by the SME Relationship Manager in partnership with the SME. Work with the graduate population to recruit interns to fulfil identified opportunities, to meet the needs of nominated work-plans. Promotion of internship opportunities to graduates, to include links with University Careers Service, social media, digital job-boards, adverts and the schemes own website. Providing information to interested applicants and acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, troubleshooting advice about how to make an application and acting as a point of information pre- application. Facilitation of interviews / assessment centre including ensuring intern eligibility. Practical support to the successful applicant - including help with accommodation should re- location be appropriate. The Engagement Officer will work in conjunction with other staff to ensure operational targets are met, if not exceeded. The post holder will ensure Twin’s Work Experience offering continues to be a market leader in the sector. To be innovative in thinking and create employer solutions that fit with Twin’s operational needs to ensure our partners, employers, students and agents are treated with professionalism at all times. To ensure all operational divisions within Twin are marketed in an effective manner resulting in Twin’s brand being seen as a "one stop shop" for all of our customer needs. To source and secure suitable/sustainable placements for our client base to meet both academic/language requirements and individual requests. Maintain professional contact with new company clients and progress with developing these company contacts to expand the intern service. Regularly monitor each student on internships to ensure client/company satisfaction Conduct professional inductions with all new students/groups/staff on first day of the course and provide details of placements to include: company information sheets, interview details and social events planned. Arrange/attend internal/external recruitment events to drive performance and generate high-motivation and sales-attitude within the work experience team To manage and maintain an accurate management information database to utilise all operational needs. To build and maintain excellent working relationships with employers to ensure repeat business for all graduate services’ needs.
