Overview

The Job: You will be responsible for organisational tasks and providing support to the Sales Teams and senior management in the organisation, set up of marketing communications courses, workshops and exhibitions, including liaising with external customers and suppliers, of all levels. Working as part of an international and local team, the expectation is to be able to multi-task, well organized, work independently and support colleagues and other members of the organisation as and when required. Exhibition & Workshop management Work in partnership with management team on exhibition attendance and feed information into annual marketing plan Organize all elements related to the organization of exhibitions and workshops Liaison with design companies and other suppliers Maximise overall presence based on global Corporate Design Guidelines Collate pre/post event information for management review Manage both company and third party manning where required Coordination of marketing communications associated with exhibition attendance Occasional travel to exhibitions Occasional support international exhibitions and events General marketing activities To implement specific collateral to support sales, marketing, brand development, communications and public relations activities Working in collaboration with EMEA Marketing Communications team to prepare the overall annual events and marketing activity plan Attendance at marketing update and alignment meetings To support integrated marketing campaigns which deliver key messages, brand collateral to the target channels and industry sectors To measure the effectiveness of all marketing and communications campaigns against ROI and specific KPIs Support access management and effective utilization of sales and marketing platforms (e.g. SharePoint, media libraries) Support the maintenance of marketing-relevant customer data in CRM and online marketing databases Coordinate marketing-related purchase and compliance processes Identify and analyse potential new marketing opportunities of regional relevance (e.g. associations, on- & offline journals) Company Academy Work in partnership with the management team and Training Academy on course development Responsibility for review and monitoring of course budget Efficient processing of course applications Collating pre/post event information including costs for management review Logistical planning and event management Drafting and coordination of marketing communications associated with the academy Effective management of delegate requirements and expectations On request, you will support and drive harmonization and improvement projects relevant for the entire EMEA region Occasional national and international travel is required The Person: Strong communication skills Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills Experienced with marketing communication tools Strong organisational skills gained through experience of multi-faceted projects Delivering results to defined budgets to present information in a structured and balanced way Knowledge qualifications, Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Understanding the principles and practice of marcom and CRM tools Personal Attributes and Desired Behaviours and other requirements Ability to work as part of a team Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours High level of accuracy Ability to effectively prioritise workloads Ability to work using own initiative Able to direct administration assistant effectively to achieve business KPIs The Client: Our client is a business to business supplier based in Southend-on-Sea.
