Overview

Are you an ambitious BDM with experience selling into the engineering industries and a good understanding of the application of engineering simulation in structural or fluid mechanics? About the opportunity As the Business Development Manager, your focus will be to drive sales of the ANSYS simulation software along with associated services and you will work with the wider commercial/technical team to do so. You will also be free to sell the firms other products and services where you have the opportunity to do so. About You You will be a naturally ambitious and driven person with previous B2B sales experience in the engineering sector. An understanding of the application of engineering simulation to structural mechanics, fluid mechanics and/or electromagnetics will also be essential to you in the role. Also, you should be a great team player who can work well with the wider team to maximise opportunity but equally be able to self-motivate and push yourself to exceed your targets. Experience with or knowledge of ANSYS or similar simulation software would be highly advantageous, as would formal qualification to degree level in engineering or a related subject.
