Overview
Exciting new opportunity has arisen to head up the HR function, sitting within the senior leadership team of a growing business based in Stockport. You will work as part of the management team to further develop and implement a HR Strategy which will assist in improving business performance, support corporate governance and increase/maintain employee retention across the business. Duties will include Maximise planning and succession. Ensure HR records and files are kept up to date and comply with legislation Update the company handbook and HR policies when required Guide and support line managers in areas such as: absence, disciplinary and grievance issues plus performance management Assist with recruitment and selection. Assist in creating and maintaining training needs analysis, ensuring learning and development opportunities are maximised. Ensure onboarding plans and procedures are implemented and followed. Standardise documents, procedures and processes This is a standalone HR role and you will need to be proactive and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy. You will need to hold CIPD membership and have the relevant experience in order to help successfully shape the HR strategy whilst developing strong internal stakeholder relationships.
