Overview
This is an interesting and complex role covering a combination of Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture and Technical Consultancy, working with Customer Engagement software linked to a large ERP solution. You will take the client through the demo / presentation stage and sales process, all the way through to delivery of the solution. So our client is looking for someone who is passionate about Pre-Sales, and about creating a solution that works. They are expecting to hire a highly skilled Pre-Sales Consultant probably from an ERP or Field Service or Customer Engagement / Contact centre software background, who has put together difficult solutions from a functional and technical aspect, in their current role. You will be ambitious and highly technologically curious; you will love software and enjoy change and challenges. Salary to £75k plus car allowance and annual bonus. The role is home based anywhere in the UK. Milton Keynes is simply a marker point - it doesn't matter where you live as clients are nationwide. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of a Customer Engagement solution which will be a mix of multiple services, applications and technology. Customer Engagement software is widely defined as a solution that manages customer interactions and communication through a mix of channels and touch points. These touch points could be CRM, calendars, web chat, social media, personal marketing, your inbox, Api's, databases and more. Customers can quickly find answers though a knowledge base via self-service technology. The Customer Engagement solution is always a combination of lots of different elements of technology and software, and often integrated to other products, particularly to our client's ERP solution, but also to any other ERP, CRM or Field Service type solution. So this role is to map out the project solution, explain it to the customer, make sure the sales people have enough scope to deliver it and then help the consulting team through the process. It is a challenging and complex role using a range of skills, knowledge and experience across: Technology Integration Software Client expectation management Consultant liaison and management You will have a proven track record of ERP or Field Service or Customer Engagement software implementation with pre-sales and solutions architecture and management experience, understanding a company's business processes, navigating through complicated technological challenges and designing innovative solutions. You need strong leadership and expertise, and a good mix of business and technical skills and will work with each client from the sales process through to delivery and value realisation. So good presentation and organisational skills are essential with at least 5 years experience of software implementation, senior pre-sales and solution building. You are client facing, confident, self-motivated and have outstanding troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis and documentation skills, and are detail oriented. This is a key role working across all their teams to get appropriate resources to ensure successful implementation and delivery of the products.
