Overview

A leading private college based in Central London are looking to recruit a 'Digital Project Manager'. The role is on an initial 6 month contract with the view of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The role is paying £50K. You MUST be available for an immediate start. The role incorporates the following - To manage the transition to the new content management system on behalf of the digital team, including managing the roll-out of CMS training for relevant members of staff across the organisation. To support the Head of Digital in delivering a new college website. To provide expert advice to college content teams on site architecture, content presentation, functionality and play a leading role in a major overhaul of website content; to take responsibility for site areas designated by Head of Digital, ensuring the content is easy to find, understand and act on. To support the Head of Digital by managing the roll out and ongoing delivery of user-centred content training to web content authors across the college. To oversee the work of the organisation’s web content authors and approvers and make sure that all content is consistent with the college’s digital governance policies. To manage processes and systems which encourage user feedback, and to identify and deliver user testing of key areas of the college website, microsites and other digital assets as needed. To manage process and systems to deliver timely analytics reports which aid digital communications decision-making and contribute to continuous improvement of our digital channels. To manage processes to help make sure the college’s blogs, podcasts and other feature-style content are engaging, support the organisation’s communications priorities, and generally conform with the digital team’s governance arrangements for content of this type. You MUST have the following skills / experience - Experience managing transformation projects which lead to a step change in an organisation's digital communications Knowledge and experience managing at least three of the following areas of digital communications: web, social media, eNewsletters, mobile apps Experience setting up and managing multiple systems to produce web user feedback; ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative responses and design solutions which meet user needs Experience developing and managing analytics systems and using the results to optimise digital communications outputs Excellent writing and editing skills which can be applied to feature-style blog writing as easily as matter-of-fact information-based content This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading college with excellent career prospects and generous staff benefits.
