Overview

Our client are a fast growing digital business. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a UX Designer to join the team UX Designer The purpose of this role is to create products and features that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. You will be responsible for creating innovative, accessible and meaningful digital experiences which meet the needs of real people and are commercially successful. This includes being responsible for the design of the entire process from acquiring and integrating the product, including working with branding, usability and functionality. Role responsibilities: Be the advocate of the user’s desires, needs, motivations, and contexts; Work with the Product Managers and UX designers to plan, conduct, and report research studies; Bring knowledge to guide all members of the squads to deliver customer-centric solutions; Understand requirements, create concept sketches, flows, scenarios, mock-ups and prototypes to test hypothesis; Validate ideas by rapidly testing and iterating your designs; Work closely with testers in creating scenarios and quality check the UI; Delivering and maintaining the UX best practices throughout discovery and development cycle; Collaborate with other teams and championing new ideas help meet business goals; Deliver an end-product design meets the core business objectives while providing users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and engagement. This role requires: Collaboration, engagement and working with key stakeholders and other teams is pivotal in delivering success in this role; Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, InVision etc). A pro-active self-starter who owns their own work and takes responsibility to deliver high quality UX design by working cross-functionally with key stakeholders; Innovative design-thinking, with a proven track record of problem-solving and established user-centric mindset with high attention to detail; Experience in planning and conducting different methods of research; Understanding of responsive design and accessibility. What you’ll bring: A minimum of 1 years’ experience; Bachelor’s degree in design or related field; An online portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating user-centred design solutions (flows, prototypes, wireframes) and visual designs (mock-ups and style guides); Strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong experience prototyping tools and design software; Basic HTML5, CSS3 knowledge - (JavaScript is a plus).
