Supply Chain Manager - Multinational, World Renowned Defence Technology Contractor Based at their West London HQ Contact: Oliver Grose at: o.grosebramwithconsulting.co.uk Our client who is involved in some of the most exciting and forward-thinking projects in the Defence Industry is looking for a procurement professional who will be overlooking the supply chain of some of their most innovative projects which are Maritime, Land and Weapons projects. You will be joining a scientific and technically minded team and take a step into a best in class procurement function where you can showcase your sourcing skills and bid management as well as developing these skills at a world class organisation. Your role as a Supply Chain Manager will involve: Driving the sourcing strategy for some of the fastest moving and most exciting weapon projects that this company has to offer, you will identify any potential new opportunities or risks along the supply chain for these lucrative maritime, land and weapons projects. Liaise with and manage Key Stakeholders across the firm to drive the strategy for your sourcing activities and improve the performance of the key suppliers in the business. Continue to aid the delivery of best in class procurement strategies by assisting Junior members of staff and negotiating with senior leaders within the business. Overlooking the market and trends in the technology and defence market to ensure innovation remains on the forefront of our client's agenda. You will have proficient experience in the following: Negotiating contracts and influencing stakeholders which have delivered tangible cost savings or improved supplier performance. Delivering sourcing from end to end, overlooking everything from the design of the strategy to ensuring its delivery. A background in Procurement functions in defence, aerospace or security related industries. Degree level education or equivalent. MCIPS/CIPS qualified.
