Overview

We are working with a great creatively led and very integrated agency who are on the lookout for a Resource Manager / Traffic Manager on a permanent, full time basis. They offer an exciting and vivacious working environment, in incredible offices with an outgoing team and the opportunity to make a big difference to the creative department and wider agency in the role. The Resource / Traffic Manager will work closely with the Account and Project managers and support the creative dept and design team in managing all of their workflow. On a weekly basis you will have visibility of all ongoing projects and the resource that is required and be involved in resource and management meetings to have a firm handle on all live and prospective work. You will ensure that projects are adequately resourced so that the best possible creative work can be produced, and negotiate deadlines or work with the teams to bring in extra resource when and where needed. This role would see being a point of contact for Account and Project Managers to manage resource against all projects that flow through the agency. Project scopes and timeframes can change sometimes dramatically and at short notice meaning that multiple projects can require the same resource within the same timeframe, or creatives are suddenly available to help on other projects. Therefore you will need to be very proactive and resilient to try and ensure the department runs as efficiently as possible and AM’s and PM’s are Creatives and Designers know exactly what they are working on and when. The agency works collaboratively to ensure that all work can be produced on time and to the highest possible creative standard and this role is central to ensuing the smooth running of the workflow through the agency. Good communication and the ability build strong working relationships is massively important in the role, as is being a super organised person with lots of attention to detail / conscientiousness. The agency will also look for a calmness under pressure in this person and a generally positive and helpful disposition is also a must The Resource / Traffic Manager will need to be well organised, able to multi-task, a good negotiator and calm under pressure. Previous experience in resource management / trafficking / creative services management is a must and ideally in a creative agency environment. Our client is looking for an outgoing, go-to person for resource, who will play a really important role for their agency.
