COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: North West, Liverpool, Manchester, Blackburn. JOB SPECIFICATION: Product Manager / Sales Application Engineer / Technical Product Specialist / Product Marketing : Global Manufacturing Group - Gas / Rubber / Plastics The Product Manager / Market Segment Manager is responsible for the portfolio management of existing business as well as the development of new business opportunities with new and existing customers within the assigned product markets/regions, the main focus will be on the gas market sector. A full job brief will be provided to shortlisted candidates, but in summary, we wish to recruit a Market Segment Manager (you could currently be a Product Marketing Manager or Application Specialist). You will support and guide colleagues to develop new revenue opportunities for specific strategic markets, undertake proactive issue resolution, improve service levels and maximise customer satisfaction and embrace Customer Value First principles. Part of your role will be to analyse the product lifecycle of defined products/market ranges by analysing customer data to identify suitable product offerings and customer trends. You will identify and link appropriate customer segments and product portfolios and build new business opportunities and growth. REQUIREMENTS : Product Manager / Sales Application Engineer / Technical Product Specialist / Product Marketing : Global Manufacturing Group - Gas / Rubber / Plastics Thorough knowledge of rubber/plastic manufacturing technology as well as application know-how. You must have experience within a sales or Product Management or Application Specialist roles with technical products, ideally within the gas industry (valve, meter, regulator).
