Role – CRM Campaign Consultant Location – Milton Keynes (primary)/ can do split week in London too Salary - £40,000 to £48,000 (dependant on experience) Benefits – 10% on target bonus, pension, 25 days leave, healthcare, life assurance, discounts on products and services, share schemes and lots more. You likely began your career within CRM on the more technical side doing campaign data selections, but reached a point where you wanted to a more strategic view. So you took it upon yourself to get more business facing. Helping to shape thinking behind campaigns and have a voice with the marketing teams to help them decide the best approach for campaigns. You understand how data tables and models play their part in targeting strategies and segmentations, and are comfortable advising non-technical or data literate stakeholders on what are fundamentally data centric decisions. You’re now likely looking for a role which will play to these strengths. Keep you business facing, connecting the dots between what marketers want to achieve and advising them on how to get the best out of campaigns, shaping targeting and helping to create data briefs themselves. But now you’re also looking for a management position too. Perhaps the opportunity to hire your own team even. Helping to teach, guide and mentor them in how to use CRM campaign tools to get the best out of them. Watching them grow and flourish with your guidance. ABOUT THE ROLE Joining this UK super brand, your remit will be to do just this. Business facing, working with marketing, props and trading teams to advise and guide their thinking and create well considered, sharp and commercially sound technical campaign data briefs for your campaign selections team to deliver against. But this is a team building role too – looking for you to appoint the 2 members of your team who will handle delivery. Whilst you’re doing this, and supporting your team to get up to speed, there will be the need to be hands-on with delivery too. This needs a degree of maturity of knowledge within CRM to be able to translate business requirements into these technical briefs – pushing back where appropriate to both manage expectations, and ensure the right approach is taken forward. This is a high-volume campaign environment which operates at scale. Delivering multi-channel CRM and loyalty communications which cover across email, SMS and push notifications. They’ve also got one of the largest consumer databases in the UK to play with which cuts across numerous categories and industries. MORE ABOUT THE TEAM This CRM ops team is part of the analytics function, creating a combined CRM data unit which covers campaign selections, deployment, post campaign analysis and customer insight. Your report line will be to the Snr Manager of this unit, someone who specialises within CRM analytics. So there’s headroom for your personal growth in role, as you look to expand the horizons of the CRM Data Selections capability further. You will be aligned to supporting one of this firms big consumer brands. It’s one of their more successful ones too who have consistently achieved profitability growth in recent years, bucking the trend seen by many of their market competitors. LOCATION There is some flexibility available. Key stakeholders will primarily be based in Milton Keynes. So it’s important you’re able to get to that site. However you can split your time between here and their London site every week. Plus they embrace remote work possibilities too – so can offer the ability to work from home 1 day a week. Please be clear in what you might need with your application. KEY EXPERIENCE NECESSARY Good knowledge of a CRM tool – such as Unica, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, etc. Confident with SQL - principally extraction and manipulation coding Able to demonstrate experience beyond campaign decisioning and into the thinking behind campaigns. Helping to shape and steer them. Designing customer journeys and how to translate these into technical data briefs Gregarious nature, with solid stakeholder management skills – able to be bridge between business teams and technical CRM data functions Solid pedigree of experience within database management, you know what it takes to create a good data brief Good evidence of contact planning with relevant targeting and segmentations, overlaying customer journeys so customer contact plans are correctly applied Having done the above for a consumer facing brand is important – but experience could have been gained either client or agency side Able to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship TO APPLY For further information please contact: Colin Doree Managing Consultant You can review similar vacancies on our website: www.bluepelican.com Every application will receive a response
