Assistant Communications Officer This is an incredible opportunity for someone in the early stages of a career in Communications to join us as an Assistant Communications Officer. You’ll have the right attitude, be keen to learn and really care about what CLIC Sargent does. Assistant Communications Officer Responsibilities: Well you’ll have to be a wizard at organising a busy workload but just as happy chatting to people from all walks of life, building great relationships with families the charity works with, journalists and colleagues across the charity. Assistant Communications Officer Requirements: You’ll get a real buzz from seeing how you can help change the system and make stuff happen for young cancer patients. You’ll be unflappable, friendly, determined and have loads of creative ideas. But you also need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in with the less fun but essential stuff that keeps the team running, like maintaining spreadsheets and record keeping. The best bit is you really will get to learn on the job, you’ll have your own portfolio of projects but will also help people across the team - so on any day you could be working on a pitch to a TV programme, emailing a celebrity, managing our social media channels or writing an internal news story.
