Overview

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company. Sell a range of products and services directly to retailers with annual revenues in excess of £100m Take ownership where necessary for sales account management in pre-defined accounts ensuring new products and services are positioned and contracts are renewed Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning Develop client proposals encompassing all aspects of the products and services that we provide Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third-party influencers where necessary Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced analytical and business skills in the area of retail marketing A min of 5 years applicable experience Experience of selling marketing tech or consultancy services into retailers Successful new business sales track record Ability to penetrate new clients, meet with and manage key stakeholders within designated accounts. Knowledge of the challenges facing multi-channel retailing and the specific challenges retailers face to acquire and retain new customers is a pre-requisite Interaction with C level players Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills Excellent communication /negotiating /closing skills with prospects /customers
