Communications ManagerAnti-Slavery International Stockwell/BrixtonRole Closing, 12th April Salary - £34K - £37KCharity People are delighted to be working in partnership with Anti-Slavery International to manage the full recruitment for the position of Communications Manager. The Charity Anti-Slavery, founded in 1839, work towards a world free from slavery. Their mission is to work directly and indirectly with beneficiaries and stakeholders from the grassroots. Drawing on their fantastic experience, they work to end all forms of slavery and slavery like practicesthroughout the world, including forced labour, debt bondage, human trafficking, descent-based slavery, the worst forms of child labour and forced marriage. Last year, they directly reached over 81,000 people to help them live in freedom and reduce their vulnerability to slavery. They are small and dynamic, but that does not limit their impact; they interact at local, national and international governance levels and are respected for their expertise on slavery issues and how to tackle it.The RoleWe are looking for a Communications Manager to come in and lead Anti-Slavery International's press media, digital engagement, policy communications, publications and brand, to ensure that the organisation delivers on its mission during the strategy period 2020-2025. You will manage budgets, designers and stakeholders, work closely with the fundriasing team and produce organisation-wide publications for supporters and the public, currently the Annual Review, Impact Report and the biannual Reporter, including sourcing and editing contributions across the organisation. You will also line manage 1 Digital Officer.The CandidateWe are looking or someone with a strong background across communications channels including digital, editorial, press and media relations and design. Ideally you will have worked as a Communications Manager or Senior Communications Officer for a charity or non for profit organisation. You should have an ability to write and create engaging content, an understanding of ho to develop written, video and photographic content and a meticulous attention to detail. Furthermore, a passion for human rights and social change issue will be a big benefit for the role.Interviews 16th and 17th April Please Note: Interviews can be conducted via Skype or Zoom.
