Overview
Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our client’s innovative and market-leading business near Tiverton. Your role will be to take overall responsibility for profitable sales growth. This will involve coordinating sales and marketing strategy, utilising competitor and customer insight, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring that the sales team are performing effectively. To be successful in this role you will need to have strong B2B sales experience in manufacturing/engineering pitching to executive and C-level clients. Strong management and leadership experience is also expected. This role includes the opportunity to progress to Sales Director. Responsibilities: Taking overall responsibility for profitable sales growth Working with the board of directors to implement an effective sales and marketing strategy Building strong and lasting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Identifying opportunities for growth and setting objectives to achieve this Providing effective management and leadership Designing development plans for sales personell including salary and commission plans Requirements: Excellent B2B sales experience in the manufacturing/engineering sector Strong leadership and team management skills Experience pitching to executive and C-level clients A fantastic communicator with strong relationship building skills Experience driving sales and marketing strategy Ideally but not essentially possessing a technical qualification or another language This role will pay a competitive salary and represents a fantastic opportunity to join a leading business in an exciting and varied role offering exciting progression opportunities.
