Professional Quantity Surveyor in Manchester City Centre Your new company Your new company is based in the city centre of Manchester, not far from St Peters Square and Deansgate therefore you will be surrounded by transport links, amazing places to grab lunch and other local amenities. With over 150 employees nationwide, you will be surrounded by knowledge and support. With a focus on sustainable development, your new company is becoming a leader in this specific field. As the company are expanding further, they are looking for an experienced PQS to help rive the commercial portfolio and luxurious residential schemes they currently have in place. Your new role Your new role will be to provide cost planning and management to a multitude of construction projects. This will also entail; Pre and post contract management Tendering Final Accounts Creating feasibility studies Business Development What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed with this position, you will be MRICS qualified with a degree in Quantity Surveying. Following your Chartership, you will have 2 - 3 years minimum experience within a cost consultancy. You will be able to work autonomously and in a team. You will have a commercial focus with a real drive for building client relationships. You will have sound understanding of JCT and contracts overall.
