Area Sales Manager - Above Ground Drainage Products Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Above Ground Drainage Products Industry Sector: Above Ground Drainage, Drainage Products, Drainage Channel Systems, Civil & Drainage, Access Covers, Slot Drainage, Surface Water Drainage, Water Drainage Systems, Drainage, Rainwater Harvesting, Major Contractor, Contractors, Housebuilders, Plumbers Merchants, Taylor Wimpey, Redrow, Persimmon, BSS, City Plumbing, Wolseley Area to be covered: HD, WF, DN, HU, S, LN, DE, NG ( ideally based on the M1 ) Remuneration: £40,000 - £44,000neg (depending on exp) £3,000 - £5,000 bonus Benefits: company car & full benefits package The role of the Technical Sales Manager - Above Ground Drainage Products will involve: Technical field sales position, selling a high end manufactured range of above ground drainage products 60% of your time selling to major contractors / house builders such as: Taylor Wimpey, Persimmon, Bellway and Redrow 25% of your time will be spent pulling this through the merchants channels via national and independent plumbers merchants such as: Michael Pavis, Saint Gobain, Buildbase, City Plumbing, Wolseley, BSS, Smith Brothers Stores and Travis Perkins 15% of your time will be spent generating specifications via the major contractors, civil engineers, consultants and end users Inheriting a patch currently turning over circa £4.5m Will be given 30-40 major contractor relationships Will be targeted on KPI’s not revenue Working on projects from £2k to £1m, with an average of £30k-£400k depending on project sizes The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager - Above Ground Drainage Products with: Must have a proven technical field sales track record selling to major contractors / house builders such as: Taylor Wimpey, Barratt Homes, Willmott Dixon, Persimmon, Bellway and Redrow Must have experience dealing with the plumbers merchant channels with the likes of: Michael Pavis, Saint Gobain, Buildbase, City Plumbing, Wolseley, BSS, Smith Brothers Stores and Travis Perkins Must have experience selling a technical related product such as above ground drainage, plumbing & heating products and sanitaryware (would consider other background with a strong back selling to the right route to market) Ability to manage territory like its your own business Ideally have contacts within contractors Organised, ability to follow projects through to completion Hungry, dynamic and driven Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Above Ground Drainage, Drainage Products, Drainage Channel Systems, Civil & Drainage, Access Covers, Slot Drainage, Surface Water Drainage, Water Drainage Systems, Drainage, Rainwater Harvesting, Major Contractor, Contractors, Housebuilders, Plumbers Merchants, Taylor Wimpey, Redrow, Persimmon, BSS, City Plumbing, Wolseley
