RESTAURANT OPERATIONS MANAGER You will live in the Sheffield area and will support 8 sites as far down as the Midlands. £35-40,000 working day shifts only company car, laptop and benefits We are looking for a Restaurant Operations Manager to join an expanding and developing company to support the Food & Beverage Director in managing the performance of 8 day time restaurants serving predominantly fresh food menus with home baking. It is a great time to join them as they are investing heavily in their restaurants with a programme of refurbishments and re-launches. The position will suit a current Area or Multi-Site Manager looking for a fresh new challenge and opportunity to join a progressive and forward thinking company. A market leader. You will support the restaurant managers & head chefs in your area, which will include recruitment & training, implementing systems & procedures, trouble shooting, ensuring costs, stock, budgets & labour are in line and that customer service levels are being maintained. This alongside managing refurbishments, driving sales and ensuring the smooth running of the operations. They are a lovely company and bunch of people to work with who invest in their people. You will need a driving licence and be prepared to travel. ROLE - RESTAURANT OPERATIONS MANAGER As the Restaurant Operations Manager you will: Manage and support the restaurant managers and head chefs in your region Provide leadership, direction, motivation and organisation Recruit the best managers and head chefs on the market Ensure that costs, budgets, labour and stock are in line Trouble shoot and prioritise tasks Report to the Food & Beverage Director and attend meetings to discuss perfromance Inspire the teams to deliver excellent service and consistent results Help to drive sales and maximise profitability Implement and work to company targets and KPIs' Maintain company systems & procedures ATTRIBUTES - RESTAURANT OPERATIONS MANAGER Experience as an area or multi-site manager in busy high volume restaurants - branded high street operations, independents, or commercial catering businesses serving the public The ability to identify and build strong people and teams Some new opening/re-launch experience would be a bonus Strong financial & commercial acumen - managing multiple P & L accounts Excellent people, communication, organisation and man-management skills Training and trouble shooting skills High standards and a keen eye for detail An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance A positive and outgoing personality and outlook Passion and drive to succeed and deliver results The ability to prioritise and manage your own time IT literate - working with systems & process This is an excellent opportunity to join them as they ramp up invest in their restaurants and teams to deliver a quality service and increase in sales.
