Area Sales Manager £60,000 OTE Market Leader with positive company culture Prospects for career progression THE ROLE : As Area Sales Manager you will be selling a range of items used not only in the plant hire industry but also by civil engineering companies, demolition firms and waste businesses. Dealing directly with Engineers, Buyers, Md's and Business Owners you will be taking orders anywhere from £5k-£80k. You will be expected to run this territory efficiently and be proactive with your work to reap the rewards of this patch. Our client wants to bring on board an Area Sales Manager to grow their account base by converting new business opportunities and nurture the existing accounts in the business, so the split will be in favour of account development, around 60%. THE PERSON: To be considered for this Area Sales Manager role you will need to be an experienced sales person with a demonstrable track record of success. Ideally you will have sold large capital equipment or big-ticket items, however if you have not sold such products but have sold into the same market sectors as above, then our client would also consider this background.
