A superb opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious, innovative business within the branded packaged food/snacks arena. This represents a fantastic opportunity if you have the desire to be part of a rapidly growing brand and are a looking to progress your sales career. You'll need to have experience selling to the food distribution sector. THE ROLE: Based anywhere in the UK, in this Business Development Manager role you will be selling a range of branded meat-based snacks to independent food distributors (who in turn sell to the convenience and symbols group sector). This position is pivotal to the growth plans for the brand, and you will be focussed on the acquisition of new business. THE PERSON: To be considered for this Business Development Manager role it is essential that you have sold to independent or speciality food/drink distributors. Ideal is a knowledge of snacks or international foods. THE COMPANY: The company holds a relatively new brand to the UK market, a meat based snack in an area of huge uplift currently. This financially strong business have seen success with the major supermarkets and now look to recruit a new BDM to promote their products through independent food distributors.
