Business Development Manager Location: Manchester City Centre Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Plus £45K OTE and Car Allowance Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in selling a service on a B2B basis? Did you enjoy nurturing business relationships and growing key accounts? You will be joining a dynamic and leading contractor and payroll solutions company which have a market leading portfolio. Due to their ever expanding growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a role for candidates who have a strong track record of service delivery and want to join a close-knit team with plenty of progression available. Responsibilities Identify, research and profile new business opportunities Proactively approach new opportunities to establish effective and profitable working relationships Conduct new business meetings, presentations and training sessions with new and existing prospects, as appropriate. Manage existing relationships, nurturing and expanding relationships to increase revenue generated Achieve and exceed behavioural and commissionable sales metrics, as set by management Maintain and update CRM systems to record details of all contact and meetings Develop relationships both internally and externally to ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven new business sales experience (face to face and telephone) Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport quickly and at all levels Target focused, enthusiastic, resilient, diplomatic, motivated and driven Ability to understand/utilise technical/financial concepts in sales scenarios Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills The ability to work under pressure with a minimum of supervision Full driving licence Understanding of Microsoft Office and sales CRM systems The business also prides itself on offering genuine fast track progression for high calibre individuals looking to progress in a growing business.
