Overview

I am currently working with an excellent client in Durham who are looking for Dynamic, Driven, forward thinking individual who thrive on achieving targets. IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS AVAILABLE We are looking for a full-time Salesperson to join my client. The majority of your work will be from the office in Durham however you will be required to attend exhibitions to up sell their product to potential customers. The role will involve building and developing strong customer relationships with trusted partners, increasing sales, nurturing existing customers and following up new enquiries. My client are a small but expanding company who design and sell software, which works on Android devices, such as smart phones and tablets. They sell directly and online to consumers, as well as business customers. Role and responsibilities Manage customer sales accounts, ensuring targets are met and deadlines achieved Develop and build strong customer relationships, both with consumers and business-to-business customers Process sales orders effectively, handle payments and invoicing and ensure excellent customer service is always a priority Increase sales, by focusing on lead generation and the conversion of new leads, while continuing to nurture existing customers Support sales and marketing campaigns, to ensure maximum uptake and promotion Attend trade exhibitions throughout the UK, when required, to develop relationships within the industry and keep abreast of new products and innovations Prepare monthly management reports and analyse data to monitor conversion rates and sales flow. Ideal candidate must have: Ideally at least one year's sales experience of managing sales accounts, driving sales and building customer relationships Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills Self-motivated with a confident but friendly manner A positive, 'can do' attitude to achieve the company's objectives and deliver excellent customer service Basic working knowledge of smart phones, tablets and apps is preferable Full UK driving licence with access to their own vehicle Benefits Total of 36 days holiday per year, made up of 23 days annual leave, 3 days for Christmas closure and 8 days of statutory holidays Uncapped commission Generous mileage allowance Company phone/tablet Company pension scheme Annual bonus Free staff parking in secure car park outside office.
