Overview
Joining one of the biggest names in the lighting industry as a Business Development Manager, you'll be building and maintaining strong business relationships, delivering growth and cementing the company's status as supplier of choice. After an initial training period, you will be taking responsibility for managing sales strategies and key customer accounts within the company's South East and London territory. The Opportunity You'll be joining an award-winning lighting supplier who has worked with the likes of football clubs, airports and major city centres on large-scale projects. They have built a fantastic reputation within their industry and have an impressive client portfolio. As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will include: Maximising the profitability of current accounts Proactively developing and managing new business relationships Meeting sales targets and increasing the profitability of the business Going on filed sales site visits to offer advice and solutions to end clients Monitoring and evaluating call performance and feeding any recommended amendments back to the UK Sales & Marketing Manager Rewards As a Business Development Manager, you will receive: Starting salary between £23,000 - £28,000 Your cut of the company's profits in the form of an uncapped bonus High-spec company car, mobile phone and laptop Training and ongoing professional development Employer contribution matched pension scheme 25 days holiday Requirements To be successful in this field sales and business development role, you should be: Personable, outgoing and intelligent with strong numeracy skills An excellent communicator and relationship builder Passionate about developing a long-term career in commercial sales Proficient in IT (Excel, Word, Outlook etc) Clean UK driving licence Previous experience within a sales environment is desirable Due to the territory related to the role, you should ideally live in one of the following areas: Reading, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Guildford, Slough, Twickenham, Southall, Harrow or Watford.
