Overview

My client is a global leader in testing, inspection and certification services. They have built their reputation by working with their clients to effectively manage their quality assurance needs and ultimately protecting brand reputation whilst minimising costs. The business is now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to contribute to their continued success by helping to develop, enhance and protect their brand quality policy and reputation. The Role - Business Development Manager The implementation of a Sales & Business Development plan and strategy that ensures the achievement of the company’s sales targets and profitability budgets with allocated fashion vendors/brand client portfolio. Maintenance of effective communication and relationships with clients and potential clients and those organisations, agents and individuals. Timely and accurate distribution and delivery of proposals and presentation to clients and prospective clients in line with the company’s sales strategy, targets and profitability budgets. Timely generation of regular and reliable Sales & Business Development reports for senior management. Able and willing to undertake travel within the UK involving overnight stays, as may be required. What do we need from you? We are looking for a bright, energetic, career driven individual who has strong presentation and organisational skills. Experience within sales or business development within textiles, retail or fashion supply is preferable.
