Overview
Our client is one the leading distributor of specialist machinery to the UK manufacturing & materials processing industry and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Area Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for field technical sales and business development activities in your designated territory. The Role: Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for performing effective business development activities to promote product sales in your designated territory. Duties will include but is not limited to the following; Develop and follow-up sales leads and undertake client visits Sales and business development telephone calls, emails and marketing sends Liaise with internal sales and and technical teams to identify and specify machinery suitable for customer requirements Meet and present customer quotations and benefits associated with specified machinery Attend product / trade exhibitions & events Maintain and accurately update CRM Candidate: We are seeking candidates who have previous sales experience in the CNC machine tool, cutting, routing, welding or milling machine arena. You will have a strong engineering background and you will be capable of quickly promoting the benefits associated with the procurement of our client's world class machinery. You will display the personality and qualities associated with a successful field sales manager. Full training and support will be provided to ensure success.
