Overview

Role: Sales & Events Manager Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Bonus Responsibilities: Sales: Lead & manage the work of the Sales Office Manager/Conference & Events Co-ordinator and Wedding & Special Events Co-ordinator to maximise potential. Actively participate in any revenue and sales activities plus any specific operational activities Represent the business key trade shows and exhibitions Escort and host trips for key clients and agents To ensure the delivery of revenue to meet and exceed targets Produce analytical information to bring shortfalls and opportunities to the attention of the Finance & Operations Director. In particular, analysis of source and lost booking data. To identify, research and generate new business against agreed targets To work with the Finance & Operations Director/Senior Management Team to compile and implement the Sales & Marketing strategy. To maintain account profiles and grow market share from all allocated and local accounts through proactive sales calls, identifying new conference accounts, build relationships to grow market share for key accounts. Compile competitor analysis and adapt strategy accordingly. People: Build productive working relationships with guests and colleagues through maintaining a high profile within the workplace Ensure clear and accurate communication between departments to allow all requests to be met on time and to the expected standard. Ensure people are a key driver within the business to the benefit of the overall customer experience To ensure the accurate communication of identified client requirements to the Operations Team.
