Regional Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager / Sales Manager Location: London within M25 Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 base OTE £10,000 - £15,000 Car allowance Employment Status: Full Time - Permanent Mercia (part of Wilmington plc Professional Division) is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide. Main Purpose of Role We're looking for a Regional Account Manager to expand our sales function. We're an ambitious Company and as such have ambitious growth plans so if you're a well organised, enthusiastic, client-centric individual who is able to combine a customer service ethos with a drive to achieve sales results, we'd love to hear from you. You will join our team as we consolidate our position as the market leading provider of training, support and promote services for accountancy practices and finance teams across UK. Your role will be to proactively contact your regional client base as a result of our targetted marketing campaigns and provide them with advice and guidance on what products we can offer to add value to their business. You'll need experience in face to face B2B solution selling within a regulated industry i.e. accountancy, legal services or education in order to understand our offering. If you are a commercially aware, curious natural relationship builder, and who can explore and co-create solutions for clients that contribute towards their desired commercial and people outcomes this could be just what you're looking for. The role is home-based with travel across your regional area. Regular internal meetings will take place at our offices in Leicester and London and there will be occasional overnight stays required but in return, you'll be given access to ongoing training and CPD across all aspects of professional selling. Skills and Experience Required: - Experience in the same or similar role including B2B sales within professional services - To be able to prioritise and target activities within your portfolio of clients to maximise the potential of each account through cross-selling and upselling - To build and manage a new business pipeline by making targeted and structured calls to warm leads - To accurately capture and record information in salesforce and other databases as required for all customer contact - To send out, follow up and convert proposals to clients - To achieve all activity metrics, including daily call rates, conversion rates, pipeline advances and income retained / won. - To make the best use of your time with effective journey planning - To work with team members and managers across the business to provide inputs to the design and support of targeted upselling and cross-selling campaigns. - To ideally live within the territory mentioned above.
