We are currently working with a leading IT services provider going through a huge period of growth following recent investment. With over 800 prestigious clients and a reputation for quality they have been experiencing high demand over the last 12 months that shows no sign of slowing down. They are now looking to grow their sales team with another Sales Executive (Internal) to help manage and develop new customers . They provide Cloud & Virtualisation Solutions to Professional Services customers. They own all their own servers and associated equipment so you will not be working for a resellers selling another company's hosted platform. Their account base stretches across a broad range of industries but with a focus on professional services industry clients such as Accountants, Law Firms, Recruitment Firms etc. There could not be a better time to join the business as we are experiencing exceptional growth and demand for our solutions. You will be joining a close nit team of likeminded professionals based from their Exeter office and you will help grow their new business revenues and client base. The position is an internal role where you will be required to generate new business relationships through proactive outbound calling and respond to inbound sales enquiries. You must be passionate about customers, be capable of working to a process and follow instruction, have energy and personality that comes across in your superb telephone manner. Being a team player is essential as well as having proven experience in working in a sales environment and achieving targets. Responsibilities Internal Business Development Manager: Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales objectives through securing new business via proactive sales activity and inbound leads Use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets and take appropriate action to ensure sales and revenue targets are met or exceeded Manage and own a sales pipeline of new business which consistently delivers above expectation results Take ownership for the full sales cycle Provide accurate and timely account pipeline reports, account plan updates and sales forecasts Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the sales process Conduct oneself in a highly professional and ethical manner, adopting behaviours that enhance the reputation of the company Experience Internal Business Development Manager: 18 months sales experience ideally in B2B however B2C will be considered Results orientated and focus on achieving targets and objectives Highly motivated and self-confident in approach to role Strong influencing skills with proven negotiating abilities Effective time management skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise according to the overall plan Strong people skills and understanding what motivates people Strong information, fact finding and questioning abilities Good networking & relationship building abilities Internal Sales, Business Development, Account Management, New Business, Sales Executive, Telesales, Telemarketing, Account Executive
