We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Lexology team, the market-leading free intelligence platform for the global legal profession. You would be responsible for finding, nurturing and closing new business prospects and selling our variety of products over the phone to new clients within the law industry. What you will be doing: Generate new business across all allocated products and territories Be the face of LBR by attending conferences and conducting client meetings Create and implement a sales plan for products and territories to meet sales targets Mentor more junior members of the team Lead generation using both internal and external research resources Implementation of sales plans for products and territories to meet your sales targets Updating the CRM to reflect accurate sales activity Ensuring clients have signed contracts and orders are processed Develop an understanding of the key markets we operate in What we are looking for: At least 2-3 years of new business sales experience in a telephone-based role Previous experience selling marketing solutions within the legal or professional services market is desirable, but not essential A first-class track record of sales performance, excellent rapport building, negotiation and communication skills Experience of using a CRM system An aptitude for working towards targets and deadlines and devising a personal strategy to hit and exceed them Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills Highly motivated, target oriented and good influencing skills Strong organisational skills Good relationship building skills In return we can offer you a rewarding career with personal and professional development in addition to a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package: 25 days holiday Private healthcare Cycle to Work scheme Season ticket loan Gym membership Pension Life Assurance To apply, please send your CV and cover letter explaining why you are suitable for this role via the link below.
