New Business Account Manager Location: Preston Salary: £19,000 - £23,000 Full Time About the Company: Our client is an international manufacturer of e-liquid, vaping products and CBD actively seeking desk-based New Business Account Managers to join their rapidly expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven closer who is dynamic, forward-thinking and relishes a new challenge. This role is critical to their success and so they are looking for an individual who is hungry to do well and has proven previous experience in a similar role. Experience in handling B2B customer accounts is a must. You must also have excellent communication skills and be able to pursue new sales prospects, negotiate and be to do relationship management. Responsibilities of the New Business Account Manager: Making 50 targeted introduction outbound calls per day, to increase new business sales revenue/profit along with taking inbound calls from existing customers Actively seek out new opportunities via Upsell and Cross Sell Active Customer Relationship Management, delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring that all customer requirements are dealt with promptly Regularly send customer samples and follow up Know your customer through Fact Finding and research their product portfolio Use your knowledge of our products to help customers make the right choice Recording all sales activity within Salesforce, maintaining records, following up tasks Work to the KPIs set for the role and the challenging monthly targets Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers Supporting at trade shows and help research Encourage and promote new marketing initiatives to reach customers Requirements of the New Business Account Manager: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role Outbound calling skill is essential Results orientated and happy to accept responsibility Pro-active and a self-starter Excellent time management Good standard of mathematical ability for quote calculation is essential A confident telephone manner with the ability to pick up new skills quickly Strong communication skills - spoken, written and electronic Attention to detail is essential along with a very organised approach Systems and process orientated Comfortable with standard CRM and quote systems, Salesforce would be a plus Intermediate IT skills Professional and confident manner dealing in person or on the phone with customers and prospects It’s essential that you can demonstrate sales skills but most of all, personality and attitude are important in this role. You must be driven to succeed and be prepared to be adaptable in the workplace. Whilst having a passion for vaping and CBD would be a plus, they are happy to consider applicants who are new to the industry, if you have the passion to learn. This role offers great earning potential and provides the chance to work in a fast-paced and exciting industry.
