Overview

Based in Preston our client is a large international business and we are seeking a part qualified / qualified tax professional for the newly created role of Tax Accountant. Paying circa £40,000 you will be working with a talented tax team and this will be a varied role offering the successful applicant a training and development opportunity within in-house tax. Key Aspects : Prepare corporation tax returns Assist with year-end consolidation processes Review tax disclosures within the statutory accounts Submit tax filings and returns Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation Be a point of contact for tax queries from the wider business The Candidate You will ideally be a qualified CTA / ACA / ACCA accountant or working towards your final exams Previous experience of working in corporate tax would be advantageous The client is willing to consider applicants who are fully qualified in general accounting willing to specialise and 'upskill' in tax Be able to work within tight deadlines The Benefits: Working with ex Big 4 trained tax professionals Agile working Pension
