Overview
Our rapidly expanding Telecoms business is looking for a high performing, proactive Business Development Executive to join our successful team of Sales Professionals selling to Businesses in Devon, Cornwall & Somerset. This role will be 80% office and 20% field based with the opportunity to progress. Successful candidates need to be hungry for success; looking for a challenging role in a dynamic company. The successful applicant must be articulate and presentable, but most of all be willing to go the extra mile to succeed. The role: Representing the brand in the South West to businesses Responsible for meeting targets through pro-actively selling our solutions and services to business customers through outbound calls and face to face client visits Creating and Maintaining a strong prospect pipeline Maximising our solutions to the existing customer base of over 50,000 Businesses in the territory Identify new customers and develop long term consultative relationships face to face With training, develop a good knowledge and understanding of the business portfolio - telephone system technologies including VOIP, convergent voice and data systems, internet access and WAN solution, mobile, calls & lines packages, and mobile solutions The Person: Telecoms or IT experience preferred but not essential ; however what is essential is a proven track record of delivering excellent sales results. Previous experience of Telesales and Face to Face sales. Well presented, self-motivated with the drive to succeed. Professional approach to team and client relationships Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure. Full UK Driving Licence.
